Just bought this 1989 Toyota ex-cab, 22re
All I have done to it is cut the subwoofer box
It had 2 twelves but took up to much room and one was blown so I cut it

Id say the cheapest way would be a body lift. If you dont like that route you can get some rear lift shackles and crank the torsion bars a little. That and a little hammering on the body seam down by the floorboards like mentioned above.

Hammering the body will not lift your truck... It will let you fit bigger tires.
You should do some reading here...

And i have a 2 in BL and fit 33x12.5s with no rubbing. And rattlewagon is running 35s on stock height.
Do some reading.

So I made my decision...
I am going to get the 3" leafs and bj spacers
Than I am thinking about some lockers
Still need more Ideas like tires and wheels
Also where can I buy these products?
Craigslist isnt helping with me so maybe some websites.

Check out Wab Fab or 4crawler for ball joint spacers. If I recall correctly, Wab Fab sells them for $129 and 4crawler sells them for $99. You could also search ebay, like I've been doing. I found a set of BJ spacers that also included a diff drop and sway bar drop for $79.

They look like the wheels I just bought of Craigslist a bit ago! Nice choice I look forward to more progress on this build. Since I'm still in school I like to see budget builds to get ideas for methods to make my 4Runner more like I want. Subscribed!

That's still more than I make a month. I had a summer job, but I couldn't keep it after school started so I'm trying to budget what's left of my money wisely (only got $450 left of the $2500 I made)... lol
