Welp since this is my daily driver truck, and I now have classes at night I thought it was time for a headlight upgrade as the stock halogens sucked. Decided to go with a new wiring harness and some rampage housings. So here are some pics.

Took the yota out for a lil shakedown run today with my buddy in his xterra. Took a lil vid of one of the steep hills I ran up.
Also got a cool pic on a VERY steep hill.

Well a bit of an update. The yota has got some new permanent tires. Finally got some 32s for the yota. I also ordered a set of shackles for the front to level out the ride a bit.

Haha so at first it's strictly your DD, then it gets some 32s, then a bumper with some light, it's gonna keep going so you should sell your heep so you have more money for this
How do you like the headlights?

Well it still is my DD haha. To be completely honest I really considered selling the heep a couple weeks ago, but decided to keep it for a trail beater since I woulda have gotten next to nothing for it. The yota is now taking my the heep's place as my mild trail rig and camping/DD status. Next on my purchase list is a soft top for the rear and then I will get the bed lineXed. Also the headlights are awesome. They put out a ton of light now and the pattern is great. Much better than the ebay H4 housings. I highly recommend the Rampage housings and H4 or a HID retrofit like I did. Only issue with the HID is aiming them so that it doesnt blnd oncoming traffic.

So my clutch master cylinder has been leaking a tiny bit lately. So today I found some time to get the part and change it out. It was super easy and took about 20mins including the time to bleed it.
I also recently attended a local car meet and parked next to this other Toy. Thought it made a funny picture.

A bit of an update. Last week someone tried to break into my truck on campus and in the process fubared the key cylinder on the driver's door. They didnt manage to get into my truck though. Seeing how I had a spare remote start/alarm unit in the garage that I was going to put in my now gone firebird. I decided my toyota is getting a new alarm system. So I will start installing the system this weekend. I also ordered a set of door lock actuators so I can have keyless entry. And I ordered a set of 4 inch rockford speakers to replace the indash crap speakers. I will soon be redoing the sound system from the ground up start building some sliders for the truck. YAY!
A couple crap cell pics till I can get some real work done tomorrow and this weekend.

I believe I have those same rockford 4" speakers if they have a huge magnet they don't quiet fit in the stock location. I had to build some custom mounts and trim the dash slightly. I look forward to seeing how you mount them in the dash I may have missed an angle that they can fit better in.

So a bit of an update, no pics but still a small update. I ordered a rear tire carrier hinge kit so I can start on making a rear tire carrier. I received my backup camera in the mail and purchased some rock lights during cyber Monday. I will update once parts start rolling in and install starts happening. I also picked up a Viair 350C compressor which will be used for my OBA system. Started on a new design for some sliders for the yota also. Still in the designing stage but this is what I have in CAD as of writing.
The old shift boot was all old and nasty so I made a new one. Not my best sewing job but looks 100x better than my old boot. Also completely finished the drivers side half door and mounted the exterior skin.

Awesome truck man! I'm thinking of painting mine this color! I just put a set of those same stock wheels you have on there now on my truck. I've been Debating on whether I should keep them or go back to the black wheels I had on it before. Keep up the good work!

Well a bit of an update:
Finally got around to try to wire some of my things up. I got my fuse block in the mail from amazon. Made a little mount for it in my engine bay, mounted my PA speaker, got some LED offroad lights and mocked up the one for the front bar. Also got my shackles from Wab-fab, however they were missing the nuts so I wont be able to install them until I get those. So here are pics!
