That 4WU 3-link front suspension looks like an awesome product, spendy, but awesome. RBX is running it on his 88' 4runner and seems really happy with its performance both on and offroad.
Yeah I've seen his and Steves blue one on Instagram. That's basically my motivation.

After making the seat mounts I've since just been trying to clean it up a bit. I buffed it with fiberglass deoxidizer because it had a ton of hard water stains on it from sitting in the guys driveway I bought it from. I think it came out pretty good, at least it has some reflection in it now as opposed to when it was a chalky sand color.

After about 1.5 years of not having a front driveline I finally had one made, it uses 1310 U joints instead of the smaller ones that came stock with the front drivelines and has a pretty heavy duty slip joint. I had to re-drill the flange on the transfer case but that was a pretty easy process. After I installed it I had to take it out and make sure it was a correct length and had enough articulation in the joints. All in all I'm pretty stoked to have 4x4 again!

Got a little time to build a roof rack for my 4Runner. Really happy with how it turned out.

not currently but when I do a new bumper with room for a larger condenser it will. Currently there is no room to stuff a condenser and fans.

Unfortunately yes, I don't mind but the girlfriend hates it in the summer. I've got a lot of things planned for it so the ac should happen while the rest of the front end is torn down to revamp it.

The runner is looking good, I really like the roof rack, turned out great! I want some dimple dies and hydraulic press so bad, speed holes make everything look cooler, lol!

thanks, and yeah speed holes are pretty cool, but it takes a ton of time to straighten the steel back out after the dimples distort it.

Got back from King of the Hammers and mounted up an old take off set of 35" Toyos from my Tundra onto the Robby Gordon beadlocks. Front fiberglass makes the 35's look pretty small.

Looks like a prerunner up front now.

I have a question about the transmission you're using. Is it the stock one out of the mustang? Not a T5 truck transmission? If so I'm curious how this thing drives with the mustang transmission having different ratios than a truck trans. I want to do a 5.3 vortec swap and am very interested in a tko600, but that is also a car trans.

It's the original car transmission. I have no issues with the gear ratios. I'm assuming the car had much higher rear end gears than I do though so that probably helps.

Awesome to hear. I figured since the ratios were close it wouldn't make a big difference.

While I'm gathering parts for my major suspension redo I've just been driving this thing around a bunch...still no paint, same junk shocks, mismatched springs, brackets that need to be cut off....but that can all be changed with the update. Anyways a group of us when out on a pretty mellow trail last weekend. Took a couple poser pics and video, nothing to wild.
