Awesome Truck, Jess!!!!!!

Glad to subscribe to your build... and nothing negative to say, ...lookin good so far. (Yes, you're SUPPOSED TO, rather, 'preferable' to many, "weld in the sliders". Unless you plan on taking them out of course! lol.

Wow, ...really love that truck! More pics, please? lol. Let's see that engine bay all cleaned up!

dig the rig. post up some suspension, engine bay, and interior shots of that truck. What are the specs for the suspension? lift, tires, gears?

with all that tweakin you do, never let it lead to removin those factory graphics. IMO, you got about a 1 in a 1000, or maybe less, of a chance findin a 2nd gen that original color with those graphics

thanks alot everyone!! appreciate the love. as far as the paint that will not change its one of my favorite parts, straight 80's. the tires are 35x12.5 BFG's baja champion mud terrains, its got 4" of suspension lift pro comp shocks, stock high gearing and 4.70 low.

im definately a novice so correct any terminoligy or whatever, i havent done any MAJOR crawling but have tested out the low end and its a friggin tank. it gets me where i want to go....... case in point

it does have a header on it too. i probably want to upgrade the exhaust and im planning of fabbing a light guard for the turn signals and mount them to that stinger. it looks cool in my minds eye. we will see.

thanks chef. you cant recreate that backgroung image though. it was raining in town and we just went up above it. next time im there i will set it up and check the difference though. its cool to take a pic at the same place in different times and see the changes.

by the way that is an original washington state truck. i stole it off a kid graduating from the air force academey getting shiped out to london. his dad bought it brand new and gave it to him at 16. i dont know how but that boy kept it that clean for six years!! if it was me then i probably would have wrecked it 3 times over.....

Just looked at it again, ....that view pic! lol. It's fine just like it is.. I just thought, for a calendar, ....maybe if the truck was a lil bigger in the pic since the pics aren't as big as a 17-24" Monitor? lol. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT PIC, period! It's a great shot, Jess!

OP: when you copy and paste your pic into your post, you don't need to hit the image icon too. That is why you keep get the [img] on both side of your picks.

And they are called sliders, not rails
