Yeah, it was my error that caused the adapter failure. I suspected some contact but the UCA slamming into it like that was not expected. Jumping breaks stuff!
Its so cool you got a picture of the lift off. Only a few people were still around watching. Albert had some video of me drifting across that same bowl but he dropped his phone and lost the data.

Got some goodies back from powder coat. First off is the engine cage / shock hoops.
I'll replace the horizontal strut with round tube with bends at some point but for now gonna go with the strut from the old hoops.

I also had the Bump Stop Brackets powder coated.
After the dunes trip I was able to get a better idea of setting my bump stops. Obviously I had allowed too much up travel so that the UCA hit the oil filter relocation adapter but with the new adapter that is a moot point.
I found some small dents where the UCAs contacted the headers on both size. The header tubes were self clearanced and contact was minimal but I decided to drop the bump cans down a half inch to be sure nothing hits. I also ditched the low profile poly bumps and swapped in the thick rubber stock unit(s).

Added some Shim Rings to the bump stops. I cut these rings to be 1/2" thick and painted them red for some visual bling.
I mocked up the assembly on the truck. I removed the shocks and springs and let the full weight of the truck sit on the bumps.
In this condition I could bounce the truck on the rubber bumps to get the Fox bumps to bottom them out. The 1/2" shims and big squishy rubber bumps seem to be just right to keep the UCAs from contacting the headers.

So here is the latest update for 2016. Had the truck up on jack stands this past weekend to switch out the SAW Race unners for some Kings. I also swapped out the mock up LCAs with something more refined. Here is the photo montage.

Did some testing in the desert two weeks back. Something like a Pre-Run for TDS. I wanted to got to TDS this past weekend but had a previous commitment. Just as well, we had the place to ourselves so it was a fast pace without crowds and waiting in line for the weak link. On this particular 60 mile run we had (8) bikes and (3) trucks. Trucks were Yotaworx 1988 Mantruck with a standard Blazeland Long Arm kit. Jeff's quad cab 2wd Pre-runner Tacoma with a Total Chaos built by DMZfab. And my of course my Fordota with MT Pro-2 prototype.
As for the testing of the Blazeland Mega Travel Pro-2 everything went well. I had some movement of the LCA cam bolts so the alignment was off. One of the LCA bushings had a torn shoulder. I need to investigate the two part bushing design I used and make some revisions if needed. Other than that good time.

Happy New Year!
Wow, its been a while since I've updated this. On the IFS rig, I got new rims and Tires. I converted UCAs to Uniball. I pulled the Chevy leafs and had Deaver build me a custom pack. I'm needing to finish up the fine tuning. On the 1985 truck I had a hell of a time getting it to pass smog.
