I broke the plastic clips that hold the ac and heater cables in place while changing out my dash so I'm trying to fix that over the next few days.. Also got a clock!

You install your suspension yet?! Also does your A/C work? So nice to have in the summer!

Nice truck, really liking what you're doing with it. After your first post I thought you had the OME suspension in already and I was thinking it looked awfully high for only a 2-2.5" lift. Can't wait to see how it looks with the OME stuff on it as I have an '84 that's the same color as yours that I'm fixing up and getting ready to put OME stuff on it.
Also, what seats are those?

Ashamed to say I have not made any progress lately. I have a compressor but it doesn't work so that's next on the list. My girlfriend has been asking if the ac will be working in time for summer lol. Feeling the pressure! I have been a little hesitant to start the suspension by myself but I think it's time to man up and do it!

Slow to no progress

I have a procomp lift on it now, bought it like that. I hope the OME is a little smoother. I also have a rooftop tent I want to put over the bed and need to arrange some storage in the back. Need to get the suspension set up before I add the weight!
The seats are out of a 92 SR5 pickup. Really comfortable and they bolt into the stock holes with a little convincing.

Good deal, at least you already have the A/C parts! That's half of the challenge haha

Update
Spent the day fixing some crazy wiring near the tail lights. Also cleaned up my factory license plate bulb covers that had been painted over.

150 lb bumper
Went ahead and got rid of my big heavy pipe bumper. Wow... I'm guessing but it felt like 150 lbs. wasn't ready for that. Anyway I think it looks better without.

Bad wiring?
Installed my second alternator in the last 6 months..
If anyone has any ideas as to what could be killing my alternator I'm all ears.

Working fuel gauge!
My fuel gauge hasn't worked since I bought the vehicle and I've been sitting on a regulator I ordered a while back because I didn't want to drop the tank or remove the bed. Today I crawled under the truck
and saw that there was just enough room for me to swap in the new regulator! I had to squeeze in and make a short screw driver but I got it done and I'm pretty excited.

Ac and heater controls hooked up
I've been struggling to get my ac and heater control unit into place along with all the cables. Finally finished it.
Clock is in and I love it.
Threw out the junk radio and thinking possibly a factory radio or second shelf to replace it.

Getting ready for a camping trip.
Tent
and rack with the help of my girlfriend.
Cap Rack came in the mail
Adjustable and easy to install
Clamps on, no drilling
Slides under Softopper rail. Rail in this pic is Softopper hardware.
Thanks for helping!
Her hand slipped off and almost punched me in the face. Was it an accident?
Cap rack installed with Softopper skeleton
Softopper canvas back on and roof top tent bolted down
Sure is high but I won't have to worry about snakes crawling in bed with me
