Alright so today we started making some progress were going to do RUF. Tonight we got all the front end pulled apart so tomorrow will set the springs in and see how everything looks. The goal for now is to make room for 35's

So I finished the packs today for chance. he couldnt come down because he was at school
What we did was use a rear spring pack out of an 85 and used the 3 main leafs pulled the overload then used two leafs out of a 90 pack we had left over from my dad's SAS
which we cut down 3 inches shorter then the 3rd leaf then 3 inches shorter then the
4th leaf. we got about 3.5 inches of lift and were using the stock hangar sunday I will be picking up an adjustable drag link to correct the steering
so it looked like this with the stock tires

Then we stuck my spre 36 under it

So we realized the fenders needed a little trimming

right now we just need shocks and brake lines and the front will be done and for the time being im going to level it with some 4 inch blocks my buddy has. what do u guys think about removing the overload from the rears?

Thanks Arron the plan is to have it ready to go by the 4th so we can take it down and he can wheel with us at this trip. I got a set of 4 in lift blocks from a buddy this weekend to level it out.

so now tomorrow I should get the adjustable drag link. and some u bolt for the back and get shocks order so it will be driveable by the end of the week!

Good Scott just trying to get all the peices to fall into place for chances truck lol. Been more work then actually putting it together. But so far all it's cost has been around 20 bucks. I should have the shocks ordered tomorrow which are only like 15 bucks a Piece at my cost. And then this weekend on my day off I'll mount up some old 35 in boggers we have and slap them on this and hope for the best lol.

Well I got my shocks put in today and tomorrow my brother is going to Portland to get me some wheel spacers because the 35's were rubbing on the steering box.
