No more bailing wire.. This is one of those Taiwan TO-###### Parts... The Quality is uhhh... not great but what can you do when you can't find factory original at a good price. I complained about the quality on the first grill I received they sent me another not even wanting the return. But it's better than the busted up original.

More T.O. parts. Head light doors, Head light buckets. The Marker lens is Toyota

Some more of that stuff I got at Lowes for Sound proofing and I think has an R rating of 3...Not much but hey. I also didn't want to pay what they wanted for carpet pad so I went with a Plush memory foam Bath mat with Rubber backing for 16 bucks to go between the Headliner and this sound proofing material. It was a perfect fit.

Ahhhhhhh..... What a difference!! Headliner, Visors, Mirror, Trim, And Grab Handle all Factory Toyota New. For headliner install just follow the FSM and check out some Youtube vids .

As for the CAR SHOW I'd like to come but I don't know if I can get out of some prior obligations. I took some Pics of my bumper now that we have some sunshine after all that rain. So here they are and I'll ask the wife about this weekend.
Thanks for the pictures. I was initially thinking about doing a stainless or chrome bar bumper like that, but I think I'm going to go with a 89-95 bumper. I photoshopped one onto my truck to get a better idea of how it would look (picture below). I really like it and it looks stock. The rear bumper is pretty much the only thing that I really need to do to have my truck look "complete."

Definitely let me know if you can make it down to the beach this weekend. My wife also has family in Rockville right off of Wooten Pkwy so next time I head up that way I'll let you know and I'll see if she'll let me take my truck - it's not exactly a family vehicle so it may take some effort to convince her to take separate vehicles... Nice score on the headliner - from Griffith Motors on eBay? I used Raptor Liner throughout my interior so I don't "need" a headliner, but I may eventually do it.

Hey Dave, Sorry I couldn't make it down to OC. Maybe next time so let me know when the next event would be. I'm Also off wooten and no worries if you can't bring your rig but you can stop by and check out the BRRT . Or if there is there a halfway point between us maybe we could grab lunch and check out our trucks. And Yes I have to Thank Mike at Griffith for help with the parts.

I know this doesn't help the door seal for water crossings, but I wanted something to protect the sill from the folks who are not as careful as we are on entry and exits. I Had some clear bra but couldn't get it to stick so I went with this 3m grip tape for steps and skate boards

So Until I can Afford a Fiberglass Bed I've got to keep this one alive and Rust Loves to eat these beds. Fortunately It has been contained in the desert climate and I still have a bed. Lucky for me, the rust that I am finding is on the surface with the exception of the Tailgate corners and the lower bed skirt seams.

Unchartered territory

Soooo.... not the greatest pic. But These lower skirts on the bed are a problem spot on all of these Trucks at some point... My question to all that have encountered and tackled this problem is.....It appears that on the backside of this seam is a pinchweld. Has anyone drilled out the pich welds or cut through this seam to separate the two panels to initiate repairs??

One of the reasons I didn't make it to OC Dave... I had to pick these up before someone else did

These came out of a low mileage 2005 4Runner and after cutting off the seat brackets and re-positioning them, I will be able to bolt them to the existing Bolt Holes on the truck. I cleaned them up with a Bissel wet pet vac and they came out looking almost new. I can't believe they're ten years old.

Good lookin' slider! Just a FYI, that bed rust was painted over - no telling what else they painted over as well. Unfortunately, it is likely a lot worse than you think it is. The problem with those bed skirts is that the way Toyota design that particular section, there is 3 layers of steel right there that collect water. Chances are good that the rust is a lot deeper than you think.

Very nice. Keep it in AZ to prevent the rust from creeping too fast. Enjoy it while it lasts..
