Regular the wheels are $55 a piece but they were on sale buy 3 get one free. Normally my tires go for probably $800 but I got them for $650 at wlamart as a deal because someone ordered them and never picked them up and they wanted them out of their shop.

Well first off here is off here is a close up of my hood ornament. I get a lot of comments about it.
Today I replaced the oil seal behind the yolk on the front differential. Im not sure how its been leaking but I noticed it the other day. Here are the parts to fix it I got from the local Toyota dealer. New seal which a little different design, new stake nut, and washer. All for $18.
A close up of the new seal. The old seal didnt have that deep of rubber seal on the left side. It was much shorter.
Took me almost an hour to get that stupid stake nut off. I HATE those things with a passion.
Had to use a puller to get the flange off. Didn't have to use it when I did this on my transfer case.
Really tore up the old seal getting it off with a crow bar lol
Couple shots of the new seal installed:
New stake nut installed.
Buttoned everything back up and filled the diff up and took it for a drive on the local back roads to warm the oil up to see if I got rid of the leak.
So far so good

Went to the scrapyard yesterday to see what they had. No first gens but a ton of second gens. I did grab a few small parts. Got two brake light switches, 3 rear brake hoses (which I will use to extend all of my brake lines. See video on previous page.), and a bunch of the clips that hold the brake hoses to the mounts. Mine are all rusted. Got it all for $16 which is the price of one new rear brake hose.

Nice job, man! Oh, and I drove a Mack; Hard Suspension 28' Box with lift gate for a while.... was the only one in the yard who could drive it without trouble(It shifted as hard as it drove! hahaha... BUT, unstoppable tank! lol). People TRIED to steal that hood ornament all the time off of it!

Got a couple more things in the mail today. One was a new window latch from Dave's Off Road Performance. I like the latch a lot but I wish it didn't have the engraving on it. Came with a new pin for it but I would have broke the rest of the latch trying to get it in because it was really tight so I just used the old one. Made out of aluminum. Its a good fit.
Other thing I got in the mail today was a dash cover off ebay. Not happy at all with it
. Doesn't fit good and they didn't cut holes for the side defrost even though the tag on it says " w/ side defrost". Not sure if I'm gonna send it back or try and let my wife alter it with her sewing machine.
This side of it is pretty good. Only the far corner would need some tweaking.
This side here is the big problem. If you line it up be the area above the vent it hangs over the dash by at least an inch.

my org is fine in the 82 hahah and mark no i didnt see that vid, prob need to huh? also, 83 i thought you got a new bed for that one with less rust? with the new fenders are you thinking of paint?

my 82 was rattle canned and i like the way it looks honestly, it easier to maintain it too the way i see it, just give the whole truck a light sanding and whip down with acetone or something to clean the surface then shoot it

White is good. Doesn't show scratches as bad as a darker color and with a darker color the rattle can job might look a little worse because you could look at it at a certain angle with light and see how well the paint was laid down. Lot harder to down the paint is white.

White is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY easier to maintain. I know, I ran my own detailing biz for a while.. WAY more frequent customers? >>>>> BLACK(#1), Red(Oxidized quickly), Dark Gray, etc., etc. ..... White doesn't show dirt as easily either... Dirt is 90% light tan.... which shows up on Black cars/rigs from day one! lol. It swirled on many of them before they'd get to me, too... 
.... I have a neighbor with a white home paint jobbed Chevy work truck... He washes it with Comet and a sponge....Still shines pretty good when cleaned up too. The human eye just can't pick it up 10 times as easily as it can with how that would look on a black paint job, ya know? lol.
I LOVE Toyota's in white.... one of my fav colors for em.
I had a blueberry blue 83 SR5 Long Bed 4WD, LOADED, with 38K miles when I bought it for 1700$ ........ LOVE that color probably second best on that body style you have.>>>>
But LOVED my white 86, .... one of the favorite rigs I've owned out of 7 of these.... Not sure why.. just is, lol. >>>>>

That blue 83 looks nice. Love that shade of blue. I want a camper so bad lol. Mine used to have one but when my dad brought the truck home from my grandpaw's he asked if I wanted the camper top and I said no...wish I wouln't have done that!

Yeah, it was IMMACULATE, inside and out, engine bay, everything. And I agree... that blue is just DEAD SEXY! I had another 86 PU, lifted, 33's, ... SAME BLUE, ..and it was VERY coveted... Guys would ask all the time, "HEY, what color is that"... I'd say, "Ask Toyota... I just call it Toyota Blueberry", lol. They had LOTS of whites, too... BRIGHT white, eggshell white, and that desert tanish, almost white color.

Yea all the fun work comes next when the below 80 degree weather comes and its nice out in the garage. We don't all have a/c in our garages (yes im talking to you gmack192 lol). But I gotta pull the fenders back off, get out a crap ton of broke bolts, fix floor boards, a few dents in the truck and new bed, and clean the upper half of the frame. And then paint it.
