Wazioc

I'm a LONG time follower but not too good at posting things. I wanted to at least get this out on the interwebs somewhere since it's been done for about 2 years and I don't have any way of showing it to people that ask.

I don't have a lot of time to post right now, but I'll try to caption a few of the pictures so they make sense. Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

GOAL: Optimize the space in the rear for 3 search and rescue dogs, and as much gear as we can fit in the drawer under the dogs. Drawer will eventually have a slide out tabletop that lays on top of it when open. Should also allow for relatively quick reconfiguration to flat platform for car camping or loading large objects.

The design was done with a combination of wood mockups to determine dimensions and 80/20 builder AutoCAD add-on.

The CAD add-on creates a build list that you can submit directly to 80/20 and generates a purchase sheet.

Got a new phone somewhere in here so I lost a lot of the step by step pictures I took. This shows laying the 1/2" stall mat in the recesses. You can also see the drawer slides mounted inside.

Doors assembled and installed. Mounted on lift off hinges for quick removability and both doors and drawer have a keyed locking latch.

Sorry I don't have more descriptions right now. I'd love to be able to offer an in depth write up in return for you guys since I get so much information from all of you but it's getting so far past now I'm forgetting a lot of what I did and the small nuances I encountered.
I know the question will come up so the ballpark for the full project was right around $3,000 somewhere. Still not fully done with all the accessories and things I planned to add to it but life is crazy busy and doesn't seem to be slowing down. Like I said, I at least wanted to get something up for people to see. Let me know what you think.
