For those who were asking, I did not take any pictures in the process of making the square front ds. I was somewhat in a hurry... But I will post up some better pics of how it turned out.

YeloSub7,

Great job on getting the work done yourself (with a few friends). Now you know what it takes, and you know every inch of your rig....so when something breaks on the trail, you can figure out how to fix it.

Great build up.

bumping to say very nice build and also your pictures of the steering linkage and box relocation have helped convince me to do this also in my build. Had some trouble finding good pictures of this and yours are great.

Looks awesome! Nice Job. I'm really curious as to what you did with your front DS. I still cannot get full flex with the ds i'm running. I read the post a page or so back, but pictures would be really helpful. Looks good!

they have been great actually... just wish they were bigger
and yes I still have the stock birfs. No problems yet. Will upgrade sooner or later, but probably not until I can afford new (bigger) tires...

I clearanced the double cardan joint from the ifs shaft. If you google it you can find some really good pics and directions. I would take some pics for you, but I have not been home in months, and won't be for for a few more... sorry. Then I just welded some aquare tube to it and... wa-la!
