Fill it up. Seriously, you'll never burn anything with it full.

Yep i see your point, but as long as the gas cap is on and all your lines dont leak you basically 100% safe.

threw the tires up for some more stability (and was anxious to see how it looks!)
![]() ![]() ![]() and here is a pic of the shackle angle some were asking for, keep in mind the springs are new, and the truck is angled back so the full weight is not on the front as it would normally be, so hopefully will get a bit more out of it once the springs settle. And once I get a bumper and winch (someday) up there it will help as well. ![]() This is with the front hanger welded completely flush with the front of the frame (no offset)

looking sexy hot stuff.
it sits a lot taller then I thought it would, granted the springs still have to settle in. Dare I ask what justin's old beast of a bumper is doing in front of your truck?

That looks great!
I wonder how much it will come down with the bumper and winch? I have the same set up but with a v6 so I'm sure thats like your truck with a winch and bumper. Jeremy |

It's a lot of money, but I still have way less money in my rig than my buddy does with a stock 2004 4Runner, and I can do way more than he could ever dream of doing and I get about the same gas mileage once the 3.4L goes in.

Check out prices from
www.addictedoffroad.com Scott had some of the best prices I found. Your still looking at like 2,000ish just for parts. But having a SAS and lift with no lockers or gears wouldn't be all that useful. You could probably skip the the gears, but I definitely would do lockers. Traction is huge in wheeling.

Why did you take out a loan to buy truck parts?

so my measurement from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender is 21". Stock I think is what 14-15"? So I have about 6" lift withe these 3" springs. These better break in ALOT! The guys at TG said it should end up being about a 4.5" lift once they break in, I dunno but my truck is high...

you have not even put the full weight of the truck on the springs yet... they will settle in nicely.
We might just have to build you a bumper to help the process along
