Got the front spring hanger on today and the frame is ready for the hoops

I also picked up my front bumper in Placerville today. It looks pretty good! I can't wait to see it bolted on with a 9000i in it.

Here are some shots of the front bumper. It's built around a trail gear winch plate. It bolts on in 6 places and the piece bolted to the back of the winch plate will be welded to the crossmember.

Here's a close up at the piece that will be welded to the frame.

Cost was right around $300 from www.Davezoffroadperformance.com in Placerville, CA.

Some more pics of the progress. Front axle is hung. The pitman arm we had on the other truck the axles came out of didn't work because of the location of the steering box so I'm waiting for a new one from Marlin to finish up the steering. Still gotta clean it up some and get the hoops welded in and then the front will be close to done.

I had pitman arm issues too...I ended up getting the Sky 3/4 drop pitman due to clearance issues.

Your runner is looking good!!

Call Sky or Poly on the pitman, that is what I have.

Box the mounts, otherwise it is bootylicious.

Got a complete front, eh?

Keep up the good work!

He's gonna box the motor mounts during the hoop welding. Marlin seems to have the Pittman arm under control but I'll keep those others in mind if it doesn't work out. It's a Marlin Hysteer kit so they should have what we need. I can't believe how far it looks from the hub to the top of the fender!!!

I couldn't resist any longer so we threw a tire under it tonite to see what it was going to look like. She's gonna be big! Keep in mind those are 37" tires. I don't think clearance is going to be an issue.

It's pretty funny looking right now with the back stock. The truck was sitting at such an angle that the doors wouldn't' stay open. We are just waiting on the bumpstop extensions and pitman arm to finish up the front then we can turn it around in the garage and start on the rear. The rear housing is already prepped so it will go together pretty fast. Soon as the rear is done we'll get the dual case and measure for the drivelines!! As soon as those are done she'll be driveable again.

Quick update.. got the transfer case out.. dual goes in today and then it's time to start tweaking linkages and cutting sheet metal for the rear case. We've been waiting almost a week for a pitman arm from Marlin.. every day this week they have told us one more day.... it's getting old. Just need that to finish up the front and then we can turn it around and start on the rear. Hopefully I'll have some more pics soon.

Got a couple pics today. The front is done and the rear should be done today or tomorrow. These are my old 33's on there for a quick height comparison. This pic was shot while it was out of the garage to turn it around and start on the rear.

Back in the garage to hack the coil crap out from underneath it.

Getting close to having it driveable again. I still have alot of work to get it trail ready but it will go quick. I think I'm gonna go with the XD9000i winch.
