Mike, no worries.

I hope you aren't excited about how huge you are going to have to go.

Robinhood has 33's with those springs and the truck looks good.

I have 37's at the same height. You are sitting on either one big SOB, or one super cut up truck.

That pic with the tire in place is how my rig is sitting right now nothing has been done to it yet. Those 37's dwarf my 33's. After the 5" springs and my 2" BL I should have no issues clearing those tires.

Ya I'll be running a full size spare Mike. The place I got em gave me a good deal but they didn't have any wheels that I liked so I waited to get the 5th. I've got my 15X8 chromies still in the garage but dont' think I want to use one of them. I'll come up with something.

Gota little more work done today.

Front bumper and chrome pushbar is gone

Slee offroad High Lift mounts are on and good news a 37 fits in a Load Warrior rack. It was a feat getting it up there with no rim on it and I'll be about 2 feet taller so I'm thinking I need to find an alternative to putting the spare up there.

Please don't put the spare up there! Build a carrier that'll mount on your tube bumper....'runners are tippy once lifted and you don't need any extra weight up that high

I dumped my old runner on its side NUMEROUS times

Got any pics of a rear tire carrier on a tube bumper? I have'nt seen that set up yet on a tube bumper. I agree having all that weight on the roof is a bad idea.

I have all of the hardware to build mine, I just have been busy with other mods and priorities that I haven't got around to building it yet. I have to get it wheeling again first. D60 soon to install.

Here's a spy photo of my front bumper on the truck they are using for the design. It should be finished in a couple days.

Here's a sketch of what I'm going to do:

And here's where it's going to go, pivot being on the driver's side instead of the passenger's as it's drawn above:

Sweet! Where and what time! I'd love to swing by and watch for a bit.

And who is building the front bumper for you?

Well we got delayed a day on the IFS cutting because I had to make a run to Fresno to pick up my crawler box. Was pretty cool actually being in their shop. Here's a couple pics of it.

It's a Marlin Ultimate Crawler box. Front box has 2.28's and the rear has 4.70's. With my 5.29 gears the final drive in low low will be 223.1!! For a comparison a stock 2nd Gen gets you about 47.1 in low range first gear.

Here she is loaded up headed for the shop!!

:bigclap: you should be able to get out of your rig... still in gear and running, have lunch , talk a bit about the meaning of life, and only need to walk about 20 paces to get back in and continue wheeling!!!! JK (or am I???) Totally sweet nontheless!!! You do have a manual tranny, right??? With an auto in compound low, your brakes are useless, and you won't be stopping it. I think Marlin asks this before you buy. Now I really can't wait to see that soon-to-be beast on granite, or sandstone for that matter!!! I have about 97:1 with my 2.28 box paired up with the stock unit. Did you go with the twin sticks? That's a really cool mod as well. It allows 2wheel low and compound low.

And so it starts... no going back now!

Here's how it looked after only about 30 minutes for work. I had to take off early tonite but my buddy is still working on it. Should have the the old pile of IFS parts pic tomorrow

There's my brand spankin new Steering relay rod that I fought so hard over with Toyota during the recall. I wish I coulda forseen the future and doing my SAS. I dropped $1200 on the front end of my IFS less than 10K ago Anyone want my OEM idler arm with a downey brace, brand new tie rods and ends, OME steering stabilizer, low pro bumpstops, and upper ball joints? Standy by for a fairly big for sale thread once I hash out everything that's got to go.

There is still going back. You have not taken out the shock mounts.

When my IFS was on the ground, I pissed on it!

Call me when you break 300:1 final drive.

Lots of sweet parts, keep up the good work.

Actually my fab guy had a class last nite from 6 to 8 and I didn't feel like sticking around so I called Steve and had him not come over. We got some done before 6 and he worked on it after he got back from class for a few hours. We'll be over there again tonite working on it. Tonite will probably be mostly grinding prepping the frame.

Got some pics back from www.davezoffroadperformance.com today. Looks like he finished up my front bumper. Here's some shots of it on a donor rig.

Here's another pic of one of his customers older truck with a winch installed
