hey all, so a few weeks ago im on way way to work, when outta no where I hear a terrible noise ( id prefer not to even try to describe it) and suddenly lose power, so I limp it to the side of the road where I pop the hood and notice 2 huge holes in my block, so obviously it was time for a rebuild. At first I had a teeny tiny broke high schooler budget, and wanted to get it done cheaply, but after getting my first report card, my mom decided I needed to do it the right way so the shopping begins, I had been looking at complete engines for a while with out any results, then I finally came across a newly machined block, score. So I now have a newly machined block, bored .60 over with new pistons and rods. Next comes the head, I took it to the shop and ended up with a brand new looking head. I topped it all off with a new clutch kit, new oil and water pumps, timing kit with steel guides and a new timing cover. So at this point the motor is just about done and will be ready to throw in on Sunday. On to the pics
