Parting Out 2000 4Runner SR5
I guess I'm going to go ahead and part this one out. I planned on having several months to pick it but looks like I'm going to be moving soon. This is a 2000 4Runner SR5 with about 150K miles on it. It has no rust anywhere that I have found and everything I have pulled off of it so far has been in very good shape. It was wrecked in the front so no hood, bumper or fenders but pretty complete otherwise. It has a moon roof as well.
I took out the leather interior and put in in my 02 model but I have all of the interior parts from my 02. They are cloth and in better condition than these but I just liked the feel of the leather seats better. I'm going to keep the back hatch if I can get it painted for a decent price but all but the drivers doors are in great condition with good glass.
I pulled the engine with plans to put it in my 89 model but after driving it 100 miles the other day, I've just about decided to leave that 3VZE in it. I just kind of like that motor for some reason. I spent two days getting that engine out without damaging a single thing on it because I knew I would need everything to do a swap. Complete harness is attached with no broken plugs, no leaks that I can see and good clean oil in it. It was obviously running or it couldn't have been wrecked.
Transmission is automatic without push button 4WD option. Harness is attached to engine since they share an ECM.
Now the rear end is another story. It has an E-locker like I have always wanted for my 2002. It's technically not for sale but this is America and everything can be had for the right price I guess.
All in all, it's a great parts truck. I'm just going to have to get it out of her quicker than I thought. Here are some pics. Let me know if you have any questions or need pics of something. Thanks.

I need the rear driver and passenger door windows. I am trying to first verify if they fit the '02 DBL CAB TACOMA. The local dealer wasn't any help, said to call an auto glass specialist. I laughed, thinking , dude, your the dealer, aren't you the specialist.
Do you know if they are compatible?

The doors are set up quite a bit differently and I would lean toward thing the windows are different too. I can't tell you for sure but even if they would work, I bet the part number is different and it would be hard to verify without having one of each in front of you.

I am still parting out the Runner. I have swapped the front and rear ends into my 2002 but I now have front and rear ends from the 2002. They have surface rust on them but are otherwise in real good shape. They are 3.90 geared and have no metal on the plugs. 145,000 miles on them.
All that's left of the seats are cloth back seats but they are for sale cheap if anyone is interested.
On the air box, I'll have to lay my hands on it but I don't think I'll be using it in my 3.4L swap so I would part with it. Ride4Fun, I'll PM you if I find it.
I do have a really good automatic transmission with the regular J pattern transfer case (no actuator). If anyone is interested in it, let me know but I am not interested in shipping it anywhere. You'll have to arrange shipping or pick it up. That goes for the rear axle assembly as well. I might be able to ship the front chuck if necessary.
