Any Nissan Hardbody Electricians In The House?
Hey guys, looking at buying my buddies 87 Nissan Hard body as a daily, but its been sitting cause of a "charging problem". Apparently it has a new alternator and battery, but wont start unless jumped and if you take the jumpers off it dies? Its a super clean hard body and love to have it, but curious on what this problem is.

Try checking all the grounds under the hood. I had a 86 that had a cranking problem and a dieing problem and both were grounds.

Thanks. I'll give that a shot this weekend when I go mess with it. I also was told to check the battery to alt cable and a fusible that there tied to as well. If I pull the trigger on this I will post some pics.
