I do not think that thing was ever intended to leave the pavment.

besides, it would have to have at LEAST 16 inch street rims, because it has to run all the subaru drive train inorder to use that engine

i'm a mechanic for a briggs and stratton dealer, and i've really wanted to get into the racing aspect of it. i get a minimum 40% discount on parts

i wouldn't mind building something based on one of those blockzilla blocks...that'd be sweet

yesterday i had an old snapper front engine riding lawn mower come in, it had a 12.5hp TWIN -- engine production date was 1988, i've never seen such a small twin from briggs, they've got single cylinder motors up to like 15hp last i checked. it had dual exhaust on it, and sounded really awesome...kind of like an old hotrod

i'd probably spend a lil more time on the front end with some fibreglass, finish it off, but its no different then a REALLY fast motorcycle (as far as protection). don't see how it couldn't become road legal?

yeah, that stuff is fun. Motors are built tough as nails and it really is amzing how fast you can go on a handful of HP
