Show-off your Dirt Bike & ATV photos

There's been a lot of threads and questions lately regarding motor sports. For those of you that already ride, post up some pics!

I bought a 400ex a few weeks ago and I'm having a blast with it.

This past weekend my bro and I left suburbia...

...we landed in this "open county space", about 4 miles away.

I discovered this jump and couldn't stay away from it...

Some of the best pics turned out blurry (camera setting was wrong) so I played around with photobucket's editing tools...

Had a couple bad launches...

Smooth sailing...

I know! I'm currently looking at helmets but It's been awhile. I have been riding (off/on) my entire life so I know my boundaries. The jump was fun but not anything life threatening or crash worthy.

Nice pics NorCrawler!

No offense man but thats no excuse not to wear a helmet. I have been riding dirt bikes my whole life too and besides a test ride after a repair or something If I always wear my helmet. From my experience when you start getting too cocky is when you get into trouble. Also you never plan on crashing. I have seen people crash and hurt them selves on stuff that is stupid easy. Just be careful.

Wasn't tryin to harp on ya. Just been riding all my life, and have had some friends get messed up pretty bad by just playing around.

Have fun.

It's all good on the dirt!

meh, a helmet, boots, gloves and chest protector is all i wear. shin, knee, elbow pads would be annoying as hell when riding.

I'm new to the YotaTech forum but definately not to dirt bikes. Been riding and racing since I was ten all over the US and Canada. So I thought i'd share a few pics.

this is my 07 KX450f sitting in front of my 95 4runner and my 85 dropped/shaved/beefed Chevy C-10

Another on my 07 KX450 at a race in Bozeman. Went 2-4 for 3rd overall in Vet Pro that day.

Another of my 07 KX450f at a Ironman GP race in Conrad. Got 3rd overall after 4 1/2 hours of hell!!!

Here's a shot of me and my 05 CRF450x waiting for my teamate to return with the transponder at the 24 hours of starvation ridge team race in Goldendale, WA 2008. We finished 12th overall and 4th in the Vet Expert.

Here's a couple of shots from the first ride on my 09 Honda CRF450R in which it didn't take long to figure out I hated that bike!!!

In which I got rid of it after a few months in favor of the 09 KX450f Monster Energy edition. VERY first race on the bike I went 1-2 for 1st overall in the Vet Pro MX at Bozeman so I was a happy man with the bike!!

I guess you could say that I eat, sleep, breath, and live dirt bikes and racing. I still have all 3 of my 450's in which they are all setup for different types of racing. And I ride them all the time!!!

it was a HS format. Dead engine start, 7 mile loop, nice 75 degree day with some nasty mud holes you had to navigate every lap. It was a ton of fun. The Ironman class did 5 45 minute races with about a 10 minute break between each one to check over the bike and fuel it up. The most fun races I do are the endurance races. I just love letting guys take off like mad off the start and then running them down after about an hour or two of riding. Keeping a good smooth pace and relying on your riding technnique when you're tired is key in those events.

here's a few more shots.

This is of the Conrad Ironman GP again.

This is my 05 CRF450x with the TrailTech X2 HID light setup. since then I have added an MRD exhaust system, odo delete spacer, SFB billet clutch cover, air box mods, pink rev limiter wire cut, and R camshaft. Behind it is my brother's 08 KTM 505sxf

This is at the finish line of the 24 Hours of Starvation Ridge team race just past 10 am. Missed another lap by 34 seconds. (yeah right, like I wanted to do another lap!!!)

And finally here are a few shots of playing in the snow. We are hard core dirt bikers so we ride in ANY weather!

What can I say? Motorcycles are like a drug. I have been addicted for way to long now!
