Did you get it running right? Do the shocks and forks still do their job? Lookin' good.
Your Thompson is a classic. Beautiful lines, looks very seaworthy. Where do you take her?

I need to pick up a bike like that. I need something to save me some cash on gas, and I dont really wanna buy a $7000 r6 (Well I do, just not for 7 g's), How much did you pay for it?
Oh yeah, have you done any wheelies on it yet?

The bike was $200 It runs okay, but its shooting a lot of oil out of one of the cylinders. The bike came with all the gaskets needed for a rebuild so I am gonna tear into it today if I have time. It rides very well and yes I have popped the front up a couple times.
The barnacle (the thompson) has been in the family for around 10 years. An old man was selling it and ended up giving it to us because he was so happy it was going to be used and enjoyed. My parents exploder tows it, I used the 4runner to take it across town the other day and it did okay. We usually take it to inland lakes these days, but we have taken it out to Makinaw Island before. I go out 4-5 times a week to chill and cruise on the lake.

Nice bike, great price. I need to find a gas saver like that as well, except it needs to be able to do highway speeds for my 120 miles/day commute.
