Garage sale purchase... 70's Motorcycle

Well the other week I picked up a 71' Suzuki T250 (2 stroke, twin carb, 6spd) for $200 bucks in running condition. I have repainted the tank an other stuff a army green color and it looks pretty cool now. I havent got pics of the bike but this is the same model just a different color. Damn I love garage sales!

Hey, I had one of those! Mine was a yellowish gold color. I drove it all over New England and Nova Scotia including circumnavigating Cape Breton twice. It didn't care for extended freeway speeds and would slowly begin to seize, but after a 20 minute "recovery" slowdown would be ready for another half-hour WOT run. It would pop some extended wheelies through 1st and 2nd too. Nice bike, have fun!

Oh man! That's an awesome bike. My buddy has one but the carbs are totally corroded to pieces. He's still trying to find carbs for that thing. I painted the tank and fenders for him using House of Kolor orange metal flake. Now if it only ran as good as it looks! Enjoy the bike!!

Will these work? Scrambler was the off-road version of the Hustler with the same engine.

you're a good man I picked up a used pair at a junkyard and I'm still having issues. There is a new set on ebay but I dont know the reserve price. I am still toying with either gettin a few more used ones, or just gettin the new ones.

Thanks for the link!
