2004 Specialized Enduro Comp

According to the bike computer file it has almost 23000 miles on it and still climbs better than any bike I've tried to replace it with. Every year for the last 8 years I've tried to buy something new and nothing can do what this bike can. It climbs like a goat, descends down anything I feel like going down, has won 18 off-road triathlon medals, competed and completed 4 24 hour races, and has taken me on adventures in 9 states. This bike gets the pampered treatment when it comes home from whatever crazy adventure I take it on. It takes me out, and brings me home every time, so I give it the love it needs.

On a whim, I posted my 2020 Giant Fathom 2 for sale and it sold in 2-3 days for $200 more than I paid for retail. (The bike craze is real here in Northern California) and I immediately ordered this!:

The only thing that sucks is now i'm bikeless until it arrives, which is week 27. We're only on week 16

Needless to say, i'm pretty stoked.

You ride? Last time I was down at Troy's place, i noticed he had a bike. His has an adjustable stem on it, which i've never seen before.

Nice! The technology of bikes has come along ways. Dropper posts, electronic drivetrains, big tires, big suspensions.... it's pretty bizarre.

Yup, I agree, alot has changed, but I think the older bike from the turn of the century are actually more fun to ride.

Anyway, hit me up next time you plan to go out. I am sure you will want to checkout my rare museum piece of a bike
