Mountain bike trails in your area

I had fun on my vacation, but did not get to ride the Skookum Flats trail as much as I wanted to.

I had read there was a system of local trails closer to me than Greenwater in a town called Black Diamond.
Did some and found a five star rated bike shop in the town of Black Diamond that has fifty or more miles of trails behind its shop called "Lake Sawyer Trails" although the trails do not really take you to the lake.

There are a few ways to access the trails in town by the famous coal cart on the main street, and also behind the bike shop.

Below is a review I found of the trails.

Lots of cool info on WA. state via that URL.

Some more info on the Lake Sawyer Trails.

Found another trail system in Renton, only a few miles from my work called "Towers of Power".
I think member toddski had told me about them many years ago.

Tiger Mountain near the summit of highway 18 I did many years ago with my sons.

The area gets a lot of work from volunteers too in maintaining the trails and rebuilding bridges.

Another local one I use to live near several years ago.
I think Todd told me about this one too.
Victor Falls, Bonney Lake, Wa.

I think the ones I want to hit up over Labor Day weekend would be the Lake Sawyer ones out in Black Diamond, or the Victor Falls ones above.

Anyone know of some other good trails for here and other states, please post them up.

Castlewood, Chubb trail, Greensfelder, Cliff Cave are some around the St. Louis area. Of those I am partial to Castlewood and Chubb.
Some trails around MO off the top of my head....

Kaintuck Hollow south of doolittle,
Berryman is outside Bourbon,
Sac and Busiek near Springfield.
Rockbridge and, if they still allow mtb's, Fingerlakes
You've got Council Bluffs and Trace Creek south of Potosi.
Knob Knoster near Sedalia.
Landahl in Blue Springs.
Crowder state park (way north) outside of Trenton.
St. Joe state park by Park Hills.
I've ridden all of these though some a decade ago or more.

In Colorado my personal favorites (so far) are....
The Tipperary creek loop in Winter Park
Monarch Pass near Salida
Hermosa Creek and the divide trail as an out and back in and near Durango
401 and Dyke trail in Crested Butte

In Utah
Slickrock, Porcupine Rim, Amasa back, Klondike in Moab. There's a lot I still need to explore there and up in the Manti LaSals, too.
Vernal's also got a good amount of trails but I've only gotten the chance to ride Can You Moo. Sort of like a very narrow Fruita trail. Will have to go back and try some more....strictly in the name of research, of course.

North Carolina
Nantahala National forest- Tsali rec area
Left, Right and Mouse were my favorites.

Here is another one not to far from me, just found out about it over at MTBR.

What is up with the pink helmet though?
Most Vimeo vids look great full screen.

They have work parties to maintain the trail.

I will have to check out that trail system in the spring.
