Ride these two decks most of he time:
Sk8Kings Blaster:
G|Bomb Illuminati:
I mainly pump (LDP) and ride the various bike/multi-use trails (MUT) around the SF Bay:

Currently involved in fighting one local city's ban on skateboards on their MUT network:
and I have an on-line petition going to help in that fight, more signatures and comments are appreciated:

Great, much appreciated. Still waiting for the issue to come up in one of the next city council/committee meetings. Did make the local city paper though:

I am a member there. Actually did not get many positive comments there, most of the comments were like "who cares, there is nothing out there to skate on". And that is true, there are like 10-15 miles of flat, boring bike trails; just the perfect venue for a long board.
Most of them seem to be into downhill or sliding or whatever and if they are not into long distance stuff, they don't care. They can't seem to see that skateboarding is skateboarding and if any form of boarding is banned, they ought to be concerned and interested in joining the fight. It is like if someone is into illegal downhill riding on public streets or into sneaking into a parking garage for a late night session, they just accept that they need to break the law to enjoy their sport. They give no thought to the damage that does to trying to get skateboarding more accepted in all forms. If you look at what the skateboard community did in Portland, OR, they can now legally skate (boards, in-line and roller skates) on most of the bike lanes in the city. They did the same in Saskatoon, Canada.
Like in the Canada case, they basically made transportation via skateboard legal and simply banned stunt riding in the streets. I think this is what most cities mean by their "no skateboarding" rules. But you can have bike riders doing stunts, gangs of kids hanging around and harassing people, people in cars "cruising" or doing burnouts and sideshows, etc. So why is it only skateboards that are banned and not other activities? The way the rule I am fighting is written, it seems that if I were simply carrying a skateboard in the park, I would be breaking the rule.
Seems like http://www.Pavedwave.org/ is more of a focused LDP site.
