Thinking about selling my 1st gen..

THREW A ROD, FOR SALE FOR PARTS

It has 268,000 miles on it, the top half of the truck is factory white, and the bottom half is matte black, painted by me.It is stock, except for 31X10.50 R15 BFG A/T's mounted on stock steel wheels, painted black. It runs strong, and is a strong running truck and i love it to death, i am thinking of selling it because i really want a car and my dad said i cannot have both ...

THE GOOD:
*fairly new clutch
*New Front shocks
*New radiator
*New front passenger brake caliper
*New Clutch master cylinder
*comes with sony headunit(not installed)
*comes with black nerf bars(not installed)

THE BAD: rust, it has it in the normal places, below the passenger door, behind the passenger rear fender, and on the rear window trim piece.. haha tape is covering up the rust on the fender and below the door. the bottom half of the truck is paint matte black, by me
*rear window does not roll down
*no radio installed..
*needs new front passenger locking hub
*no rear winsheild wiper
*needs new weather stripping in windows
*slightly miss fires, not badly, i still drive it daily with no problems, i think the plugs are fouled out..
*gas gauge does not work, however fuel light does come on when you have about 40 miles or so left on the tank..
More pictures to come, i am just using the ones on my computer for now. please dont hesitate to ask questions, it is located in northern virginia.

Is there anything wrong with it? Does it use oil, underpowered, is the tranny noisy? You know things of that nature.

i was told it needs a new hub/spindle bearing on front pass. wheel. misfires, slightly, i think its either timing or spark plugs.. everything else is fine, has a lot of torque and runs great. i love it to death i just want something newer and am looking for a car..

Trust me you don't want a car. I have gone through the same thing, I wanted to sell mine for a small little sporty car. Worst idea I had ever thought up in my head. A truck you can have fun with anytime in the year. A car you can only have fun with in the summer depending on how much snow you get (and if you have AWD or not). Plus you own one rare (and getting rarer) vehicle! Why would you want to miss the opportunity of owning it?

I sold my Pathfinder a few years ago to get a BMW 635csi... Yeah, big mistake. I ended up driving my parents' Suburban much more than the Bimmer. I will get a car again sometime but only if I can afford to keep the truck too. Until then I will put up with the quirks of driving a 20 year old offroaded truck

The paint is just rustoleum spray paint, rims are from 4wp you can get them for $235 from them, tires are from tirerack.com, everything I have done is pretty cheap (besides the engine replacement).

Im going to keep my truck when I get another car for graduation, its going to to get the garage and my moms 02 honda gets the driveway (kind of messed up right!!) I just want something that can be more reliable and not burn a 1/2 quart of oil every 3 days. I dont want to have to spend money on another vehicle when I am going to school for automotive technology!!
