For sale: whole or parts 83 4wd truck

Its time to part with my old 4wd. 1983 short bed, 22r, 4spd. It has a clean title and runs good, bad, bad, bad frame. Would rather sell whole but I may part out if enough interest.

I have more pics if interested. $250 for the complete truck OBO.

I have several stock carbs and intakes for the 22r. Make me an offer on what you need.

This truck is for parts only, it absolutely cannot be driven at all. I parked it several years ago for the reason of the frame being bad. I'll get you some pics later on this afternoon and post them for you so you can see what I am talking about.

Ok, as promised here are some pics of the bed and the frame. I didn't get a chance to grab very many but you'll see why the frame is bad and sorry for the overexposure.

Time wasn't kind to it...to put it lightly. Looks like you got some good use out of her. With some mods to the frame, do you think it would be possible to ressurect? It's sad to see a truck go out like that. I'd rather see it burried to the axles in mud for all of eternity with a blown up motor, than see it quietly rusting away. I'm going to cry myself to sleep tonight ..... Good motor, Right?

It spent most of its life around a lake, hence all the rust. There isn't really anything solid on the frame left to do any welding to. It would be better to find a new frame or build one than to even try on this one.

Drivetrain is in great shape, thing pulled hills and drove through ice and snow like no other. I'd pull the motor and keep it for myself but all my other vehicles use the new (85+) 22r.

If its not sold in a week, its going to scrap.

I am in need of a pass door. What kind of shape is it in? I was building half doors and my almost complete one fell out of the back of my truck on my way home and got ran over by three cars. I am on the east side of indy. Thanks. Bill

I would put it on ebay before the scrapyard if I where you it will sell for at least what you are asking and if not then scrap it and try posting some ads on craigs list post on a few city's just copy and paste the same ad its free.
my buddy bought the same motor as yours for 150$ and we drove past linton to to get it if it is good sell unless you don't have the time to part it out.
