Looking for 84-89 4runner

I am looknig for a clean 4cyl with manual transmission. It is going to be my new DD so i can sell off the gas hog truck. Looking for one in South Carolina, but can travel into north carolina or georgia.

Yeah, stay away from the 3.0 unless you want 15 mpg. you would be better off with a 3.4 and get 18mpg.

Unfortuantely the one in Georgia has been sold.

I had a V6 truck and liked the motor, lasted to 236K until i sold it. So i have had good experience with them, but i understand what can happen. And I didnt get bad milage with them. about 18-20 if i remember. I got to thinking if the 4 cyl only gets about 5 miels more, it isnt the biggest gain to get the 4 cyl for mileage. But the 4 cyl has a better reputation.
