Lifted 93 4runner on 35s (Columbia, SC). **Sold***
$6500 OBO SOLD
This was my first car and i have always taken pride in taking good care of it and babying it. This is a one of a kind 4runner and is a head turner for sure it looks good. I only got it stuck once after i lifted it so i could test my winch out It really hasn't been in anything crazy because i was always to worried i would mess something up. It hasn't been put in the mud in over a year. The 4runner was my dads before it was mine and he was the first owner. It has every option from the factory: 3.0 v6 engine, power windows, sunroof, power locks, 5 speed manual, 4x4 and more. I have yet to see another 4runner of the same body style that has paint in as good of shape as mine is. It is completely reliable i drove it back and fourth from columbia to charleston every other weekend with no problems at all for an entire school year. I wouldnt hesitate to drive it a couple states over as far as reliability goes. It actually drives pretty good for a lifted truck and it feels stable at 80mph. Its got 320,000 miles on the frame which i know is alot, but it had the engine rebuilt 4 years ago and it has 30,000 miles on the new engine and it was rebuilt with a practically brand new shortblock. It really is in great shape. The only thing im keeping is my two amps that power the subs and door speakers.
Only reason im selling is because the grandparents said if i got rid of it they would help me get something else, but its still going to be really sad to see the 4runner go...
The good
Nice stereo (the stereo has an eclipse headunit with 6.5 inch polk audio component speakers in the front with 6x9s in the back it sounds awesome) the subs are polk audo MM series 2 12s. Oh and all the speakers are marine certified so they can get wet and it doesnt matter which is awesome
Cb radio with PA(mounted in ashtray)
35inch KM2s 70% tread left
Warn rock crawler front bumper
4 inch rough country lift
Reupholstered front seats
surco roof rack with warn 4x spot lights up top they are ridiculously bright
Rebuilt engine about 30,000 miles ago with basically a brand new short block put in it
complete rear differential replaced about 3 years ago
CV axles replaced a couple years ago
4wd works and engages and disengages immediately
A/C was just recharged
built in power inverter
2000 tacoma center console
No rust
The bad
Just recently the transmission wont stay in 3rd gear i believe the synchronizer has gone bad for 3rd and needs replacing so therefore ive dropped the price significantly... It is still very drivable though you just have to skip 3rd gear
Leaks power steering fluid slowly (i usually just keep a container in the truck for whenever it starts to get low) but it works fine
the right side side view mirror wont adjust (got to do in manually)
t-case whines with the rpms as you drive (the dealer said it was just normal wear)
Any questions just ask. This one of a kind 4runner could be yours
If you want to see more pictures just ask and ill go and take some or if you want to come by and take a look feel free
You can call or text me at 803-238-4100
Thanks for looking!

I would agree. That and needing a transmission rebuild from running those big tires on stock gears is probably going to hurt your chances of getting that asking price.

Great looking truck. Too bad its under geared, and the tranny needs some attention :/ Are you sure you want something different? with 5.29s and a rebuilt tranny, you'd love this truck again...

I know... I would love to hold onto it i really would, but it drinks up too much gas to drive it as much as i do. I would love to have it as a secondary vehicle instead of a DD but its my only car...
