![]() I just updated the original post b/c the truck now has close to 169,000. I might add, the reason for all the miles lately is that I just drove it from Topeka, KS to Tucson, AZ and back = 2600 miles. the trip there, i had a full load (camper shell, full bed, full cab) of stuff. the truck performed better than i could have imagined. 70 - 75 miles per hour on the hwy was no problem...with the full load, on the way to tucson, the truck averaged 19mpg! On the way back (empty truck) I got 21mpg once and for the most part averaged 19mpg. I believe the truck would have gotten better mpg, but I set the cruise at 80mph (3500 rpm) and let 'er roll. I'm almost having second thoughts about selling her. BigBen, if you are interested, I would be willing to drive the truck (meet you) up to 350miles of Topeka, KS. TIA |
