FEELER:98 4runner sr5 4x4 lifted
So here is the deal, In the next couple weeks i will hopefully finish rebuilding the engine on a pickup i have. Right now the 4runner is my DD but after i get the truck running I need to get rid of it. I have too many vehicles and I am in need of a full-size truck, that is the ONLY reason i am getting rid of it, i wish i could keep it, only car i have never had a problem with, pulls strong and shifts great. Just putting it up to gauge interest. also comes with stock bumper, running boards, mud flaps and all the stock suspension
1998 4runner sr5 4x4
3.4L v6 automatic
185,000 miles
all the service was either done by me or shops i trusted. oil and transmission service was done regularly with new air filter, grease all fittings, etc. oil changed every 3000-5000 miles.
belts and plugs replaced two years ago
lifted about 3"
Donahoe coilovers- sending them in for rebuild next week-FRESH!
total chaos upper control arms with bushings- (not installed-stripped for paint and need new uni-balls)
OME 891 springs with new bilstein HD shocks
1" diff drop
2" trail gear wheel spaces
285/75/16 Pro-comp xtreme m/t (great tires, still have useable tread)
last year i put on:
new rotors and shoes with ebc green stuff pads
nex axles and cv's
new steering rack with lifetime warranty and poly bushings
tow package
Thule rack with two bike racks
Custom built tube bumber (1.75x.120) and 1/4" aluminun skid plate with 3 pro comp 8" 130 watt lights-roof is also wired for lights
alpine deck with ipod/aux cable and ipod/phone mount
-Body and paint is straight and clean EXCEPT:
there is a dent in the rear hatch where a backed into a tree branch
it doesnt affect the latching or the power rear window but it is there. I was quoted $300 to fix it. Pictured below (right side of license plate
also there is a small tear in the drivers seat from getting in and out.
power windows, A/C, lumbar support seats, COBRA remote door locks with two key fobs, it might have the cobra alarm with it but im not sure, i hate alarms.
almost all miles are highway miles. was a commuter for my dad to the bay area and the origional owner before him lived in the bay area and since i have had it most miles have been on i-5 between so-cal and nor-cal and to montana and back. with the occasional backwoods camping trip.
SOOO, Im asking $6,500.00 tell me if im crazy. again once i get ths truck on the road i need it gone. LOCATED IN SANTA BARBARA, CA but im in Nor-Cal often. i will put better pics up. pm for pics too. I know...its dirty...i live on a dirt road

headgaskets have been replaced. never had a problem with it. had a mechanic who only works on toyota in bozeman go through it and check everything and do a tune-up and he never mentioned headgaskets. unfortunately I wont be in montana till maybe may and i probably wont drive. If you are really interested i might be able to work something out
