A340F Transmission and transfer case from 2001 4Runner
Removed from my truck due to O/D planetary failure most likely caused by thrust bearing failure. Around 80K on it. Transfer case is in good condition. Tranny needs to be rebuilt. After realizing the problem, cleaning the chunks out of the pan and putting in fresh fluid, I drove it with O/D off for about 7500 miles with no issues. I also have the tranfer case shifter with knob / switch, a front drive shaft with about 60K on it and most of the wire harness that goes to the transmission. Local pick up or delivery near Cleveland, Ohio is preferred. Pricing on whatever you want is negotiable and I can disassemble any of it if you are looking for internal parts. Make an offer.

Well, work didn't ease up and the kids gt sick so it had to wait 'til Friday night. After being puzzled for a bit, I found a block off plug at the right rear of the transfer case next to the tail shaft. I'm guessing that my truck having 4 wheel ABS and traction control negates the need for a speed sensor on the tranny. Sorry for the delay and lack of parts - Jonathan

no problem. I located one today at the ABQ junk yard. I found that Tacomas, 1998 - 2000, V6 with Auto have these speed sensors that will work. $75 bucks later, I have one.
Thanks for looking
