84 FJ60 Landcruiser PA/MD
I purchased this sweet FJ60 in 2005 with big plans to turn it into an expedition rig. Unfortunately, as a college student big plans are easier to come by then time and money.
Original inline 6 cylinder 2F
4 speed
130,xxx miles.
AC – blew cold last summer
Dealer installed push bar bumper
Hitch
Power steering
Power breaks
Carb cooling fan works
Installed < 3000 miles ago
Old Man Emu heavy 2.5” lift (Phenomenal ride quality)
New Muffler
Replaced < 1500 miles ago
Water pump (truck never overheated it just started squealing)
Fan clutch
Rebuilt front axle with all new seals and wheel bearings
Tune up with new plugs, set timing, adjusted valves
All fluids (transmission, transfer case, diffs, motor, brake, coolant)
Ill let the pics show the rust. It’s much cleaner then the average cruiser.
The tires in the pictures, 33x9.5 and 32x11.5 BFG AT, are not included with the cruiser. A set of 30x9.5 on steel wheels will be installed upon sale.
The only problem I know of…the little levers on the back of the brake drums that operate the parking break are rough. If you pull the ebrake the brakes engage fine but don’t release well. The levers need taken apart, cleaned and greased.
The cruiser is located in Felton, PA ~10 min from I-83 Maryland line/Shrewsbury.
