22r Efi Pa/md

It ran great before I pulled it out of an 86 auto 4runner that I bought as a parts truck. I was told the engine has 190,000miles on it. This engine should work with any 22RE truck, manual or auto. I sold it to a friend who was planning on installing it in his truck. He took the oil pan off and decided that it should be rebuilt. He didn’t want the engine so I have it again. All the EFI with random sensors and vacuum lines are on it so it should be set to go. The stock header is also included. Its current location is in Felton, PA. I would be willing to deliver it with a deposit of some extra $$$. What’s in the pictures is what you get. It’s got to go so make me an offer.
$250 OBO

That's an 1984 Motor

That s motor may have come out of an 86' but from the picture
the TEQ stamp on the side of the block means its pre '1985.
The head on the block is nice because it has the 20 Bolt EFI
head, these motors usually came in celicas.

Are you saying i should sell the head as a 20 with EFI to someone wanting to do some sort of hybrid 20/22 engine.

A little clarity

This head is good for someone wanting to take a 22R (carbed)
and convert it to efi if they do not have to 20 Bolt EFI head.
This work for the early model 22R pre 1985.

I suppose you could but the head on a 20r but why. You get
the whole engine for a steal.
