1996 4Runner auto trans, cheap
Auto trans in great shape from a 1996 4Runner. Comes with torque converter but you'll need your flexplate or a new one and your transfer case. Ran smooth and shifted great when removed, regularly serviced. The following #s are stamped on the case: Model 30-40LE, serial# 95BR21930, on the tag 35000 and 3D330. On the trans housing/case was stamped AISIN 8980-U.
I can also recommend a very affordably priced shop to insall it for you as well. Asking $200 or offer, consider trades on hunting type of items, longboard for surfing, flat panel TV, or just let me know what you have.
I also have a manual locking hub transfer case I'll throw for $100 if you buy them both.
The trans was pulled due to a cracked flexplate. The trans is in great condition and should serve you many years of service.

Do you know the approximate weight and dimensions of the transmission and transfer case? I've never shipped anything that large either, but I can help get quotes from various companies...
A couple that come to mind are dnafreight.com, uship.com, and freightcenter.com (which finds the cheapest price from many different companies.)

I'm thinking it will weigh 250-300# and I'll have to strap it to a skid that I build. The pallet/skid will be @ 2.5'Wx3.5'L and the overall height with the trans will be near 2.5' tall.
