Question Wheel - Chou Seiki - acorn vs shank lugs

I have been looking on various websites to buy an upgrade to the spare wheel (already have a new tire) for my 98 4Runner SR5 (16x7 stock alloys) and I see two types.
Chou seiki manufacturer wheels
1. shank style lug nuts, requires washer
2. acorn and tapered style lug nuts

Question is, how do you tell the difference by just looking at the wheel?

Typically wheels using a shank style lug are hub centric and wheels using a acorn lug are lug centric.
