yeah but think of how much less rolling resistance will be on the pavement after running those street slicks After all less rubber on the pavement means less friction right?

Finally got them mounted. They ride so smooth. So far so good feels like a normal tire to me. I will let you know how the tread starts to wear.

i ran a set of all terrains from them, i had them for two years, the only problem i had is that 2 of the were out of round but other than a slight shimmy at 65 they were great, the reason you cant air them down is because the tread can and will seperate from the carcass of the tire when it is flexed on the edge of the cap then your tread seperates and you lose a tire

This is why I don't trust them. To me since I do wheel my truck and air down 12-15psi, they are useless to me.

i guess we shall see, I will air down to about 15-18 no less. Already did a trip and no problems so far. I have read other reviews of people airing down with no issues.

It doesnt seem that airing down while on the trails would be too bad unless you are just going through some tough crap. Aired down while doing 60 on the hwy i can see that ending badly for any tire haha

yea the price is definatly good, I aired down again last trail ride on the dusy, even got some scuffing on the side walls, and some paint scraped off the rim but so far so good, I thought they had 33's maybe not 10.5 but the 12.5's I will be getting those next, myabe next year with some new rims 15x8's. those all terrains look just like the BFG's

I'll be getting a set of these for my FJ. But, how the heck are you guys getting cheap shipping?? It's $300+ in shipping alone to Alberta Canada. Still cheaper than buying anything from the store here, but holy crap that's a lot!

Just in case everyone hasn't already seen these reviews:

Make sure you go to page 2 for the test they did on a icy hill.

Yes indeed.

He's still running them! I don't know how many miles are on them right now but I can find out pretty easy. Been a couple of years, on a couple of different rigs, several (and I mean SEVERAL) off road trips, aired down, aired back up, to and from work, etc... My next set of tire is going to be the A/T looking one from Treadwright.

My only complaint is that the ones I want are on back order.

edit: did some looking and I bought my TW's in May of 2008 and put them on my 86 pickup. I ran them on that thing until February of 2009 when I put them on the 89 4runner. The runner had 207k on it and now has 235k so about 28,000 miles. I probably put about that many miles on them when they were on the pickup (longer more frequent road trips) so figure another 20,000 miles? Lets say I'm over 40,000 miles on the retreads and they still look pretty good. Can't complain since I bought them for 63$ each (IIRC).

So I noticed that one complaint is that they don't sell 33/10.50/15 but there is a metric equivalent for that size it might be half inch shorter or taller give or take but close enough I will be getting the mt version as soon as I need tires again

um what size is that? 305/70R16 is the only metric equivalent to a 33 x 10.5 but it's a 16" rim not a 15" rim.

267/86/15 would be the metric size according to the calculator now finding that size I don know if they will have it but that's the exact size so you may find one that is close like I said

TreadWright do not have 33x12.5x15 anymore nor do they have the 33x10.5x15 I emailed them a while back and they aren't going to be supplying them any longer. So you'll have to stay with the 31's if you are using a 15" rim.

have you even looked t their site? They do not make a 33" tire for a 15" rim.

Thank you for wasting my time looking on their site for a 33" tire in a metric size for a 15" rim.

these are the sizes they do have and is clearly marked on their site:
