I'm also a user of a snow plowing forum (lol I know crazy right) and a lot of the guys on there that run their trucks a lot of miles in all conditions say they're great and last a long time.......if you get a lot of snow or they are the primary snow tires get the winter ones......I forget they call it green tread or something......but what it is is crushed walnut shells in the rubber and it wears with the rubber and keeps a good biting edge for ice........from what I hear it works awesome and lasts for a while and these guys use their trucks for this so I'd think they go through a few tires and know what works....know what I mean?......I'm gonna get a set next time I need 'em

I didn't know you could get the greenies here. Hmmm... Do the guys just use them as a winter tire?

Crushed walnut shells?

Instead of chestnuts roasting on an open fire it will be walnuts roasting under a rusty yota.
