Hi all,

I've come across a set of used 31x10.5.15 Michelin LTX A/T tires that look to be in great condition for the money. Since I'd be going to a new tire size, I'd have to swap my spare for a tire the same size as the A/T.

I can't find any of the same model/size elsewhere, and am wondering if this should be a hinderance to buying a set of outdated tires regardless of condition/price. This is a concern mostly because if one of them isn't repairable, I'd have to look at putting an odd tire on my rig.

Any constructive feedback is appreciated!

Just ge another tire in the same size. It doesnt matter the brand or design. as long as its a 31X10.50R15. mine are general a/t's, my spare (loaned out) is a bfg rugged trail, but, they are all the same size.

Depends on where you live... the Michelins are a good tire for what they do but they are next to useless in snow/ice and even a little slippy in the wet... but if you are in a relatively snow free area they can be a good buy...

My dad has always ran the hercules a/t up in big bear, year round, snow sleet or shine. How he found out about them? Got his new patrol car and it had them on it, he loved the way they performed so he bought a set for my moms 4runner (rip) and his tundra. I currently am going to go back to 15's as johnnyboy is hooking me up with a deal on some pro comp's, but will keep the new herc's as spares.
