Going to 4wheel parts today... quick ?

15x7 or 15x8?

I dont want a wide wheel... i have 16x7's right now, and i like how they sit. they are stock tacoma alloy wheels off of an 03.

i'm leaning towards the 15x7 just so the tire isnt so stretched out, but i do want it to stick out a bit more.

back spacing?

If you have a ORW just as close as 4WP I say hit up ORW first, alot better service...

How did you decide on 4WP over everyone else? Just curious.

Here's my opinion.
In Escondido, Ca, Theres an ORW and a 4WP basically across the street from eachother, Never being to either I said hey, Why dont I stop by both and look at AUX lights since im shopping around.
I went to ORW first, The guys in there were friendly and very quick to greet me, and answered every question I had no problem.
Then I went to 4WP, Walked in, there must have been 2 or 3 guys behind the counter, took me a good 10 mins to browse the store, not getting acknowleged by any employee, I left. Unless they have some uber sale, I wont go to a 4WP without a gun to my head...

If you have a tacoma that came with 16 inch rims, make sure that a 15 inch rim will fit. The brake rotors/calipers may be too big for a smaller rim.

I just got 16x8s with a 4" backspacing, -11mm offset, they are Pro Comp 8069s... I am now rubbing the fender AND a little bit of the frame. I am in the process of beating the pinch weld.

There is a local motorcycle shop in Bako that was just like that except for the owner he was very friendly and helpful. I ended up feeling the same way you do about 4WP. I personally haven't been to the local 4WP yet, but the guys at Carrols Tire Warehouse here are really friendly if all want is tires, rims, brakes, alignment, etc.
