i have the timberline LTs.
they are ok. not great, not bad, just ok.
never had any problems with them, though i do think they spin awfully easy -- especially in winter around here.

they were on the truck when i bought it. they probably have about 35k-ish on them now...
they seem to be cupping a bit now, but i've never even rotated them. they seem to be balanced ok so far as i can tell.
my intent has always been to just run them into the ground at which time i can justify the purchase of something new & better.
honestly, i think they are good -- for cheap tires.

thanks sandcrawler! I figure you're getting all of the Bridgestone/Firestone engineering at an off-brand price. They're no REVO's, but for $200ish less even factoring the rebate...how bad can they be? I heard somewhere that a consumer mag just recently listed them as a best-buy? Firestone guy will have them for me to look at this afternoon before I make a final decision. Thanks again
FYI~ anyone that's interested, the first link works, just takes a little while to load. WICKED picture! Almost looks like the REVO, if I squint a little bit '-)

I'm more of an "on-roader" with an occaisonal ski trip or two to Steamboat..looking for a decent, quiet ride with good rain/snow traction for here in CO, that won't break the bank since I'm still reeling from a new start, water pump, belts, etc...sigh...The MT's look touch though, maybe too tough for me?!

oh ok i was thinkin if you were going to wheel it then you'd get probably almost 2 sets of those m/ts for the price of 1 set of say bfg a/ts...i'd try out those timberline a/ts they look pretty good

A valid point for sure, I'd think quite a few folks on here would be interested in those..sometimes I feel like a outcast with my tire-foamed, scratch-free runner. I rarely even see dirt roads..but I do enjoy a good last minute, winter storm warning trip to the mountains!
Having them installed tomorrow a.m. Firestone dealer even matched online price! They sure have good customer service these days. Winning customers back on tire at a time. They had never even seen the tire before today proving that Bridg/Fire doesn't reallypush/market the brand. First guy I talked to said Dayton?...never heard of them!!!haha
All the sales guys were actually pretty impressed with the tire when it arrived...one even said he would consider trying them out over another pair of Revo's on his dually just because the price was so unbelieveable! I'll post some initial opinions in a few days.
All you wheelers should take note though, might just be worth trying...can't beat the price. Reminds me of Whirlpool's off-brand "Roper". I bought a refrigerator and washer/dryer. They were identical in every way to the same Whirlpool unit at SEARS for roughly 20% less. Bad comparison, but you get the idea. Maybe these are Revo knockoffs?!?! Oh well, looking forward to tomorrow morning either way. Gotta love new shoes!!!
