Dovs Volatile Steak Marinade

This is a recipe I found online for steak marinade. I'm planning on preparing this tonight for use this weekend - I'll let you know how it comes out.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 oz Jack Daniels Whiskey
  • 3 TB Honey
  • 3 Tb Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp White pepper
  • 1 TB Tabasco sauce
  • 2 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 TB cinnamon ground
  • 12 oz Guiness Stout
  • 4 oz Peanut oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 2 oz Soy sauce

PREPARATION:
Start with a saucepan. Mix the Guiness Stout, the Jack Daniels & the oil. Add the Worcestershire & tabasco sauce. Bring to a slow boil & add the white pepper, garlic, salt, cinnamon, & honey.

Mix well, turn off heat, and allow to cool to room temp. Use immediately or store in a glass jar in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
ORIGIN: Dr. Donald Houston's Kitchen, circa 1988, Tampa, FL
