Track Tvan: How does this off road camper grab ya?

They carry other models too.
Getting these to the states though would cost a lot.
Does not this just make you want to go camping?

The one on the beach just rocks! Makes me want to hit Padre Island for a week of shark fishing!

Be sure to take lots of pics and post 'em up in the trip report forum.

We have rain moving in tonight after a good week of sun and 70 to 80 degree weather.
So I will be doing lots of surfing for more camping gear, and checking into HAM radio gear as well.

I took a look at the web site and really want the Traveller model. Hell it has a kitchen!

In the future my roof top tent will be coming off my roof and go onto an Adventure Trailer.
http://adventuretrailers.com/

I like the Chaser model.
http://adventuretrailers.com/chaser.html

The tent stores on top, and you can flip the lid up to get to your gear.

Not the same brand, but you can see a tent like mine mounted to it.

This winter I am going to strip down my old "Baja" trailer, and take a stab at making it into one of those adventure trailers. I'm sure it won't be quite as cool as those, but who knows........

Check this trailer out.
He got the idea from the Adventure Trailers Horizon model that has the storage on the sides.

He built his own!
http://www.fjcruiserforums.com/forum...-overload.html

Rumor has it hey may be mass producing these for a company later.

He did build one for a guy who went to the FJ Cruiser Summit this summer.

Read the thread associated with it and like it better than the mass produced ones seen elsewhere. Could you do me a favor and ask him what one costs? I'd have to drive from New Mexico to pick it up but I like to travel. I'd register with the FJ forum but that'd be like dropping a rat terrier into a ring of pit bulls, I don't want to ge chewed on too much.

Ricky.

I've looked at most options from LR style dormobiles, roof top tents to trailers like Campa, Adventure Trailers - most trail worthy & still the TVAN is my favorite. I don't wont to climb & carry myself & my dog up a ladder. I know AT has a prototype that is between their Horizon & the TVAN that looks promising.
