Residual water in water jugs?

Hey guys. Lately I have been camping with clear 5 gallon water jugs. There is always a lot of water droplets left inside after emptying the jug, even if I let it hang upside down for a couple days. I store them in my garage where it can get dusty and I worry some bacteria or something can grow in it. I do not seal it off as that would be bad too.

Anybody deal with this,or just give it a rinse before your next trip and don't worry about it?

I either leave the jug open to allow it to fully dry before closing it up or for my large 5 gallons cans, I keep them filled with fresh water, maybe add a touch of bleach to keep it clean and then have emergency water handy just in case. Before a trip, I'll empty out that old water and refill them.
