Since I have a couple of aluminum bottles here at the house I've started making one of these. I like the idea of it being light weight and small so it'll fit in with the rest of my emergency gear in a small pouch in the storage bin at the back of my 4runner.

Any of ya'll have something similar? I'll be sure and post up some pictures of mine if/when it turns out ok and if it works.

No..... It's harder than it looks. That and since I put the locker in I've been hitting the mountains on the weekends instead of working on the little stove thing.

Well I haven't been doing anything really picture worthy. I can air down (sometimes I air down when I don't even want too) but have no way other than a gas station to air back up so I've been learning the limitations of a dual locked rig without airing down. So far the only thing that stops me is deep snow. I will be going out tomorrow and will try to take some pictures for the forums.

Deal. When you coming up for salmon fishing? Vitaly likes to hit the salmon runs. I go fish with my mom, apparently she just got herself a new fishing boat, haven't seen it yet.

I'd so love to hit some salmon. I've never done it.

That's a cool idea for a little emergency stove. I have a couple backpacking stoves and I think my favorite is the old military ones (M-1950 I think). They are recomended to run on white gas or gasoline but I think you can burn anything in them. Great for bug out bags/ survival bags.

Dark that looks cool but it kind of eliminates me drinking beer to do something neat.......
