Bear Gryll's Clothing
Well I took the plunge around Thanksgiving after I got another catalog in the mail, and placed an order November the 28th I think.
Just got two shirts yesterday since they ship from the UK and have to clear customs.
I called their 800 number the other day to find out where my shipment was, as you cannot track it since they use the Postal Service once it lands in the USA.
It was funny listening to the phone ring when I called them, just like the phone at the end of one of Pink Floyd's songs.
Lot different ring tone that here in the US.
Anyways, I ordered two of these in Black Pepper and Dark Khaki.
Bear Trek Long-Sleeved Shirt
I am wearing the black one today at work, and I have to say it is very nice.
There is no insect protection in this shirt like my Rail Rider ones, but these do have 40 SPF built in to protect you from the sun.
I think these will do very well both for camping and at work when it is cool out.
Warmer months at work I am in T shirts.
If anyone has thought about these, you might give this shirt a try.
Only drawback is the wait for them to land in the USA.
The three reviews so far on their site are pretty positive.
I had to roll the sleeves up one turn, as they are a little long for me.
They also can be rolled up and held in place with snaps.
Yes, it does say Bear Gryll's on the front of the shirt
I do like the shirts though, and the couple of Bear Gryll's knives I have from Gerber.
