thanks and I was shooting most of the day at 1/60th. I think the Grunewald pic might've been slower, but i don't remember off the top of my head.

Here's shot I took when I was out Wheelin' with my friend and fellow photographer, Darren "PoppaD" Stevenson. We were up off Pima and Dynamite following the powerlines and I parked at the top of this hill to take some pics. I used Darren's Nikon D700 and SB-800/900 speedlights--I think it was 4 lights balanced with the ambient. Good times for sure!

Just found this photographers section for the first time - I'll stop by often!
I do freelance and shoot mostly automotive stuff...
Here's a few shots from my FB page: http://www.facebook.com/6thGearAdvertising

Oh, I like taking pictures! Especially when I get to take pictures of cars.

Lately I've spent more time behind the wheel of my 4Runner than behind the camera... it's hard to drive and take photos of yourself at the same time.

I love that shot! I remember running across it in another thread. Pretty sure I saved a copy.

Great shot, really good placement of lights! I love the D700, it's a solid beast.

Oh wow I have to jump in here. I'm only just getting back into photography and bought a Cannon RebelT5i. I'm not even sure its a good camera as I bought it in Yellowknife where choice is limited.

I got a few lenses, good ol 50mm, 18-55mm with a bit of a macro feature and a 75-300mm zoom lens. I'd like to get a good telephoto lens so I can get better wildlife shots and outdoor stuff on my trips.

Not a huge fan of the Rebel series personally. It is what made me switch to Nikon lol. Anyways what ever gets you back shooting right.

What do you not like about it?

I know already it's not going to work long term as I have the time to get serious again. At that point I would like a full size camera to have better lens options.

I'd like to get closer and clearer. Also the smaller photos that I can upload to photobucket look really digital. The RAW files don't look like that.

Welcome back to photography.
The best camera is the one you have in your hands, and the best dSLR is the one that you get out of auto mode.

I still have my lowly Rebel XT but I've taken better pics, and captured moments (action shots) than some fancier cameras.
