Oceans Shores and the Bald Eagle

I was in ocean shores this weekend and there was a Bald Eagle feeding on a dead otter. this bird was huge and let me get surprisingly close.

A bald?or blad? and thats sweet, they are cool looking birds. Ive gotten pretty close to them when i was dirtbiking and it was eating a dead deer on the poleline get and pics?

Done... great pics by the way.

I have seen a few of them flying around the Verde River which is a designated nesting area close to home... but never that close.

Sweet pics, some of the photography on here amazes me. The one where the eagle is taking off look almost fake, like a drawing or something. The guts pics are a bit nasty though haha. The best i seen was a eagle come and take a huge salmon out of a stream during spawing season and the deer eating was interesting but sick also
