Night Shots!

I've been taking long exposure night pictures. i really like the way these have turned out.. having a remote for my d50 makes a huge difference, i'm able to use a higher f stop, and longer exposure.

I caught a satellite or plane or something

lets see what you have!

Chris was was your ISO setting on the truck shot, a bit grainy to be honest. do 100 for night shots for long exposure.

The last 5 pics are from when i frist got the camera so the ISO was set at auto.... the first 2 are at 200 ISO. 200 is the lowest it goes.

also, i was useing Microsoft Picture manager to resize the pics, i think it makes it more grainy then if i take the time to open up PS

I think this was a 5 sec exposure:

Here was the first attempt - really need something more stable than a beer bottle for a tripod...

Very nice guys. Wish I could find some night shots to share, but they're all on good old fashioned negs...stored in a box or bin somewhere.

i have alot more but the focus is just a hair too blurry and its pissing me off.
