This is your first post with no introduction? Sounds like you need to check your vehicle more thoroughly before accepting it from the dealer. Sorry but 3 months is a long time before noticing something is missing, could easily have fallen off. No wonder they wouldn't except responsiblilty.

Maybe I'm missing something, but, all this frustration was over a turn signal?! I understand some frustration with dealing with a dealership who doesn't return calls. But, it really seems like this situation may have been dealt with a different way. You know how the saying goes, if you want something done right, do it yourself? Sorry for your bad luck.

Are you happy enough with the product seeing as the support/service appears to be poor?

I think he is just venting a little, but at the same time trying to get the word out about crumby customer service he received. I don't live where he does, or take my car to the dealer for repairs, but if I did I would think twice about taking it to the dealer he has been using. All I'm saying is to cut the guy some slack, he's new and we don't want him thinking we are all a bunch of jerks do we? (rethinking this as I consider my audience...)

It is of course possible he is simply joining as many forums as he can to post this story in hopes of reducing as many customers as possible from visiting the dealer he is having an issue with.

If the story is true I'd steer clear of that dealership. Unfortunately there's no way to know & this being the OP's first post it comes across as a whine instead of a "heads up" to the Toyota community at large. Personally I tend to cut people on the intardnet more slack than some of my fellow posters do & I know at least one or two of them are really good guys.

OP sounds like my uncle finds something very small and makes a huge deal out of it, i might think that this is my uncle except that my ucle would never be cool enough to buy an fj cruiser, he thinks chevy is better.
