I might also suggest a documentary by Mark Achbar and Peter Wintonick called Manufacturing Consent about Noam Chomsky and the corporate media. If you don't at least have questions after a thorough analysis of these bits of information then ignorance has taken over and your critical thinking and reasoning abilities have flown out the window. Should you chose to arm yourself with a more balanced perspective, you might think twice before starting threads (on a Toyota site) such as this one and using wording like "THIS IS CRITICAL FOR OUR COUNTRY. MY PRAYER IS THAT WE, ALONG WITH SEAN HANNITY, WILL REACH SOMEONE/ANYONE BEFORE NOV. 4th."

Notice the word OLHARLEYMAN uses "FACT". If you went about your day without a closer review of what OLHARLEYMAN posted you would believe Obama was in born in Africa. Hawaii is a state in the United States of America.
Incidentally, there is a plethora of information regarding Obama's birthplace. I don't care enough to sit here and post any more info on Obama and where he was born. The overwhelming evidence suggests Obama was born in the US and is a US citizen. Even the mainstream media has stopped

Take the documentry (if you watch it) for whatever you want. I don't believe there is a good network for unbiased news out there. Just passing this info out there.

As far as Palin, well, I didn't want to get political here, but I responded to an email the Republicans of Texas sent me by saying:
You're choice of VP is a joke. You're using her to get the female vote since most of the minority vote is taken by Obama. It is a horrible move, and further takes away from the "facts" of this race being taken seriously. It is now truly a popularity contest.

I still feel we are seriously screwed by either of these folks getting in. I just feel we'll be less screwed by one.
